I'm Mark Phillips, the guy behind WorldCabFares.

And the owner of MudMaps Australia, a 4WD tour operator in Australia.

Yes, I'm an Aussie and have I've been involved in the travel industry for around 20 years now and have done a lot of travelling. Corporate, backpacking and adventure travel.

With about 70 countries visited to date I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

As other big travelers will know one of the most difficult times on the road is to arrive at a new international airport and have to make your way to your hotel or lodge. Why is it that taxi and cab drivers are always out to rip you off?

So, as a small attempt to help other travelers I've prepared this website as a resource for you to check on the cab fares before you go.

At least you'll know when you're being ripped off even if you can't do anything about it.
